Antique Chinese Pottery Dish with Hand-Painted Blue Crab Motif
Item Details
An antique Chinese pottery dish with hand-painted blue crab motif attributed to the Ming Dynasty, circa 16th century. The crab symbolizes a wish to have many children so the family can be expanded and prolonged.
Condition
There is a raised mark to the center, seemingly original to the piece. There is a hairline crack and chip to underside of rim.
