A dated 1897 presidental document signed by William Mckinley. This oversized document is presented in chirography lettering and reads ‘William McKinley’ at the top with an American bald eagle displayed. This document was a proclamation citing honorable postal work for an individual in Shelby County, Illinois. This citizen’s name is listed on this antique document. William McKinley’s signature is located at the bottom of the document presented in black fountain pen. A gold label seal is affixed to the bottom left-hand corner. Please note, William McKinley’s signature has received a ‘visual pass’ from a third party authenticator. The document will come rolled.
