Item Details
A hand-knotted Romanian crest rug for Nasser Zarnegin. The rug features a thick pile with a pattern of heraldic shields on a butterscotch field. The shields appear to contain European heraldic symbols, with a larger red shield with white cross representing Switzerland, and with French, Italian and Germanic shields as well. Columns topped with two-headed animals run along the sides and the rug is finished with short kilim strips and long natural warp fringe.
