A large 1984 reverse acrylic painting on plexiglass titled 81 Targets by contemporary Cincinnati artist Evelyn L. Liner. The painting features a grid of circles painted in various shades of yellow, red, and black. The work is signed and dated in black to the upper left corner and is signed, titled and dated to the verso. It is presented in a modernist lucite frame with rounded corners The verso is coated with a treated paper for protection.

Evelyn L. Liner received her artistic training from the University of Cincinnati. Liner typically creates reverse glass paintings, rendered in vibrant colors. Her work has been accepted into a number of juried shows including the Bluegrass Open in Louisville, Kentucky, Summerfair, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Dayton Museum Gallery Show. Along with juried shows, Liner’s work has been on display at several Cincinnati area institutions such as: Closson’s Gallery; Miller Gallery; and Malton Gallery.
