A large 1989 reverse acrylic painting on plexiglass titled Sunrise-Sunset by contemporary Cincinnati artist Evelyn L. Liner. The painting features a series of thin, vertical lines painted in shades of pink, purple, and blue that move from pale to dark across the composition. The work is signed and dated in black to the lower left corner and is signed, titled and dated to the verso. It is presented without framing, awaiting your choice of presentation; holes have been drilled to the upper corners, presumably for hanging. The verso is coated with a treated paper for protection.
Evelyn L. Liner received her artistic training from the University of Cincinnati. Liner typically creates reverse glass paintings, rendered in vibrant colors. Her work has been accepted into a number of juried shows including the Bluegrass Open in Louisville, Kentucky, Summerfair, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Dayton Museum Gallery Show. Along with juried shows, Liner’s work has been on display at several Cincinnati area institutions such as: Closson’s Gallery; Miller Gallery; and Malton Gallery.
Condition
- holes have been drilled to the upper corners for hanging. A few paint splatters to front of plexiglass at upper edge.
