A large 1970 Major League Baseball All-Star Game exhibit display from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame. Played in Cincinnati at the newly built historic Riverfront Stadium, this large exhibit depicts the famous home plate collision between Pete Rose and Cleveland Indians catcher, Ray Fosse. This play resulted in a late-inning winning run for the National League, making Pete Rose an iconic figure in All-Star history. Constructed of a durable composite material with a protective exterior coating, this display actually depicts the moment Pete barrelled over Ray Fosse. In bold large letters, this exhibit display reads ‘1970 All-Star Game.’ Also, there is a memorable quote from Pete Rose presented. A COA from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame will accompany this item.
