A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan area rug. The wool rug is rendered in a palette including medium blue, melon, taupe, turquoise and greens. It features a central pendant medallion in a highly detailed field on a medium blue ground. Curvilinear spandrels and a running water inner border frame the field, with an outer primary border with floral motifs.
