1926 2c Battle of White Plains Sheet International Philatelic Exhibition Issue

A souvenir of the 1926 International Philatelic Exhibition, this mint sheet contains twenty-five 2c Battle of White Plains stamps. The sheet is numbered 18773 to the three borders and marked ‘International Philatelic Exhibition, Oct. 16th to 23rd, 1926’ to the top border. It is stored under plastic against a cardboard backing. It was released as a commemorative issue by the United States Postal Service as a special sheet, containing only twenty-five stamps.
