A signed, hand painted ceramic mask by listed artist Eugenio Pattarino (Italy, 1885 – 1971). Eugenio Pattarino is mostly known for his majolica sculptures of Roman Catholic influence, with his sculptures presented by the Vatican as gifts to foreign diplomats, including President John F. Kennedy. The mask features a glossy finish to the face and hair and bears accents in yellow around the eyes and eyebrows finished in blue. Signed to the reverse, ready to hang by wire. A companion mask is available as item number 18CIN698-244.

Condition

- crazing to finish throughout the piece with discoloration to white glaze across the forehead, nose, mouth, and cheeks.
- chip to the yellow hair to the right-facing side.
