A monumental patinated bronze sculpture titled Journey II by American sculptor Gary Lee Price (b. 1958), dated 1998. This work features a pair of Canada Geese in flight. The sculpture is signed, numbered 7/50, and dated ‘© 98’ in mold to the back right corner of the base.

Gary Lee Price creates monumental, life-size, and small-scale sculptures featuring a wide array of subjects such as wildlife, floral, children, and Native Americans. He obtained a BFA at the University of Utah and studied under Alvin Gittins. The artist is a member of the National Sculpture Society, and in 2002, was awarded the Governor’s Mansion Artist Award from Utah Governor Michael Leavitt. Price’s work has been collected by private and public institutions including the Springville Museum of Art, the Culver Military Academy in Indiana, and the Chruch of Latter Day Saints Museum of Church History and Art, among others.
