Scandinavian Paint Decorated Wardrobe, Late 18th Century

Item Details

A late 18th century Scandinavian wardrobe in pine, having a restored painted finish. The upper case has a shaped top with two shaped paneled doors. The lower case is dovetailed and has two drawers above a full-width drawer, on cabriole legs. The painted decoration consists of cross-banding, marbleized moldings and floral decoration. Circa 1780-1800. Includes a key.
