A collection of three late 19th/ early 20th century portrait daguerrotypes in union cases. The collection includes a pair of male figure sixth-plate portraits in embossed leather wrapped union cases, and a hidden mother child’s ninth-plate portrait in an embossed leather wrapped union case. A note from the seller indicates these were taken in the Lowell/Dracut area of Massachusetts, but there are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition
- sixth-plate image of young man is good, with light pitting either to image or glass, leather case has light scuffs; sixth-plate of middle-age man has some corrosion on right edge, leather eagle and shield case has light scuffs; ninth-plate of hidden mother and child’s portrait has some spotting upper center and fabric is torn to the interior with scuffs and wear to the exterior.
