Hand-Knotted Persian Yazd Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Yazd wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of scarlet, pink, navy, ivory, brown, and green. It has a central eight-pointed medallion on ivory on a scarlet field, all filled with floral decoration. There are navy blue spandrels with vases of pink flowers in each corner. The rug is framed with a compound border and finished with natural warp fringes and hand overcast selvedges.
