A 2008 Taylor BBT Big Baby Taylor 15/16 scale steel string acoustic guitar; the dreadnought style guitar features a solid spruce top with a laminate sapele back and sides. The back and sides of the guitar are produced without extra bracing, to give the player a lighter weight instrument while still maintaining a structurally sound design, and a rounded back that helps to project a very full and balanced tone with a large amount of volume. The fretboard and bridge are both made of ebony to provide a great resonant tone transfer. Designed to be a larger version of the popular Baby Taylor, the Big Baby Taylor was produced in Mexico and labeled to the interior of the soundhole.
The guitar is signed by the married musician couple, Amy Grant and Vince Gill, in black permanent marker to the upper bouts of the body.
