A 1932 Waterman’s Autograph Album featuring autographs of note from Amelia Earhart, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover and Calvin Coolidge, all of which have been authenticated by JSA and a Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the book. The collection spans the five years in the life of young John Furth, who writes, ’ I have not sent letters to all famous people, I have sent my album’. Over eighty signatures appear in the book spanning the areas of Politics, Religion, Presidential, Aviation,Education, Public Administration, Local War Heroes, Exploration and Patriots, along with newspaper clippings and letters. Aside from the big four signatures, others of note are from s surviving civil war veteran at the time, eighty-eight year old Charles H. Fennimore; a letter signed by Captain Robert A. Bartlett of the Greenland Expedition of 1939; a slip of paper signed by Clyde Eddy the first person to travel the entire length of the Colorado River and a signed postcard from Colonel H. Norman Schwarzkopf, father of the Gulf war hero, ‘Stormin Norman’.
