Spode Invalid Feeder circa 1780-90 with 19th Century Bowl and Invalid Feeder
Item Details
A selection of antique transfer printed earthenware including two invalid feeders and a footed bowl. Featured is a Spode invalid feeder bearing a printed maker’s mark used circa 1780-90. Josiah Spode owned the pottery works starting in 1776 and his son took over the factory in 1797. They are credited with developing the standard for bone china wares during that time period.
