A 1771 antique hardcover volume of The Experienced English House-Keeper by Elizabeth Raffald, signed in ink by the author to the first page of Chapter 1. This is the second edition, published by R. Baldwin of London, printed on laid paper and bound in a half-leather veneered marbled hardcover. It features a fold-out engraved illustration of a stove to the front. Missing the title page and index, identified as second edition based on the number of pages (this edition has 384 pages, 1769 first edition = 362 pages, 1773 third edition = 366 pages).
