A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi rug. This wool pile area rug has been made in a color palette of red, green, pale green, pale yellow, dark blue, grey, black, and white. There is a diamond-shaped central field with a medallion and pendants, and it is surrounded by white spandrels; all of this is populated with foliate and vine motifs. The primary border features a wide herati pattern. This rug is finished with natural warp fringe, and it is unmarked.
