Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Isfahan Rug

Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Isfahan rug. This wool pile rug has been made in a palette of dark red, red, pink, dark blue, lighter blue, green, very light green, gray, black, and white. The central field features floral and vine patterns with a medallion, pendants, and spandrels. There are minor borders with a chain of pink and green diamonds to either side of a primary border which display a floral and vine pattern. This rug has been finished with natural warp fringe, and it is unmarked.
