A signed, hand-knotted Persian Tabriz area rug. Features a forest green geometric medallion on a rich red ground with rectilinear floral vines patterns. The main deep blue border is populated with large palmettes, mingled with diamond-shaped figures and florets, flanked by azure secondary borders with repeating eight-pointed stars and a signature in Persian. The rug ends in short cotton warp fringe.
