A 19th century carved walnut mirror frame in the naturalistic style of Black Forest. This antique piece features hand carved designs in high relief of a dog’s head, bunches of fruit, large scale foliage, and vining branches connecting the elements. The mirror does not bear a discernible maker’s mark.
Condition
- to poor, modersate surface marks, scratches, and abrasions throughout; cracks and breaks along natural wood grain; some chips to edges.
