Numbered 139/150 printer’s proofs
A Douglas C. Hess matted and framed offset lithograph. This printer’s proof is titled ‘Kentucky Dreams’ depicting a young boy dressed in his University of Kentucky athletic attire sleeping in his comfortable blue upholstered chair. Adorned with many ‘Blue-Grass’ related items, this boy leaves one wondering about dreaming and playing basketball at the University of Kentucky. With a fire burning in the foreground, some of Kentucky’s greatest players and figures are displayed such as Rupp Arena, Cawood Ledford UK’s Hall of Fame play-by-play radio announcer, Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino cutting down the nets, 1970s All-American Foward Jack Givens in a shooting pose, and star center Dan Issel from the 1960s.
