Early 20th Century Painted Flat Top Steamer Trunk by Mendel Drucker

Item Details

An early 20th century flat top steamer trunk by Mendel Drucker of Cincinnati. The metal case features a hinged lid opening to a removable sectioned storage box with additional room underneath, wallpaper-lined interior. The exterior is riveted with metal bands and corner brackets and the front is fitted with a lock mechanism flanked by painted clasps. It retains a tag marked “Mendel Drucker Trunk Cincinnati” with a triangular trademark symbol.
