The front panel is stenciled ‘Hulman & Co’s / Delicious / Roasted Coffee / Terre Haute, Ind.’ while the lid is stenciled ‘Delicious’. There is another stencil on the left side panel marked ‘Feb. 10 1903’ and the underside of the lid retains remnants of a paper label reading ’Hulman Coffee Co.

Condition
- overall with various scratches, dents, marks, chips, shrinkage cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; structurally stable but some light separation to panels; overall fading, wear, and losses to old, if not original, orange paint and black stenciling; lid with replaced hinges, one of which is partially loose and missing a screw; interior with later reinforcement strips to side panels as well as a later divider/shelf; losses to paper label on underside of lid; right side panel with a thin white streak; baseboard probably replaced and with moisture stains.
