Empire Works Earthenware Fish Service, Circa 1896-1912

Item Details

A set of seven early 20th century earthenware fish plates. The pieces feature three different hand-painted fish patterns to mottled blue, pink, and yellow ground with gilt flowers to the red verges ending in curvilinear rims. One piece has the Empire Works maker’s mark.

Condition

- heavy dust and accretion; crazing to most; wear to designs and gilding.
