A 14K yellow gold turquoise ring by Navajo Diné artisan Don Johnson, active in the 1970s and 1980s. This sculptural piece offers an unusual design. The toothed bezel appears to be imposed to the center of the carved stone face, with a band of stone inlay visible above the wide shoulders of the polished shank. The interior shank is signed Don Juan of New Mexico in script style.
