English Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs, Late 18th and 19th Century

A collection of two pairs of antique English sterling silver sugar tongs, dated to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The collection includes two pairs of monogrammed sugar tongs with monogrammed handles including a pair of sugar tongs Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan of London, marked with a 1799 date mark, and another pair by George Smith V. These pieces are hallmarked to their interiors.
