A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, camel, powder blue, indigo, and umber. The ivory colored field features a Sarouk design beginning with a floral spray cluster, and vase forms to each end, along with an abundance of floral and foliate sprays throughout. Framing the field is a main camel grounded flower designed border that breaks over the floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
