A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor by well-listed American wildlife artist and naturalist, John A. Ruthven (Ohio; born 1924). The work is titled Carolina Wren of the artist’s Songbird Series. The work features a petite wren perched in the curve of a knothole in a wooden gate with morning glories tucked inside of the rusted metal latch. The print is numbered 640 in an edition of 950 in pencil to the lower right. Artist signature is printed in plate and hand-signed in pencil to the lower left. The print is mounted behind light putty mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame.
