An original oil on board painting by well listed and highly decorated local painter and art innovator Tom Lohre. Lohre has shown prolifically throughout the area, is the first person to have painted a spaceship from life, and invented his own painting machine out of Legos. Tom studied under master painter Ralph Wolf Cowan. This painting is titled ‘3-Mile Harbor East Hampton, New York.’ This painting was also painted en plein air at the artist’s friend George’s wedding. This painting features an absolutely incredible understanding of perspective, and the cumulous clouds in the background are painted with stunning conveyance. The painting is signed by the artist to the lower left hand corner and is presented in an absolutely exquisite gilt wood frame.
