A finely hand-knotted Sino-Persian Qom silk rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, pink, beige, light blue, golden tan, peach, gray, green, burgundy, and brown-black. The ivory colored field features an ornate round pendant medallion enclosed by deep layered beige, light blue, and pink grounded spandrels. It also features an array of intricate floral and foliate motifs along with scrolling vine-work. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main herati border with added blooms that coordinate with the field. Floral meander guard and minor borders also help frame the field. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a silk warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
