1910 National Model 332 Cash Register

A 1910 National model 332 cash register. The piece features the classic ‘dolphin’ case, designed by Tiffany, with raised garlands, foliate and arabesque designs throughout in relief. It has a window to the top to display the denominations and just below the window is a serial and model number plate marked model number 332 and serial number 841125 which dates the machine to 1910. It has round metal keys, most with a white on black design and the front can be lifted to reveal a counter and keylock. It has a small marble shelf above the wooden cash drawer which is separated into multiple compartments. The piece rests on a wooden base.

- extensive finish wear throughout with some paint stains, scuffs, scratches and worn designs to the keys; oxidation throughout with some verdigris; marble is cracked and broken and there are missing chips; extensive wear and discoloration to the wood base; the sale keys were tested and move easily and the drawer pops out when tested.
