Sevres Style Porcelain Cabinet Plates by Claire Maglin, 19/20th Century
Item Details
A set of eight late 19th/early 20th century Sevres style portrait cabinet plates, each depicting a beauty and signed by ceramic artist Claire Maglin. The plates have decorative scrolled edges with gilt detailing, the back of each is marked appropriately with a green ‘Limoges France V.F.’ encircled.
Claire Maglin (Rochette) was an accomplished ceramic artist, both the pupil and daughter of renowned Sevres artist A. Maglin.
