A vintage red painted chest marked Royal London Ballooning Society, 1879. The lid depicts a sky filled with multi-colored hot air balloons, and is noted as ‘Ballooning near Windsor, 1879’ with the Berkshire Windsor Castle shown in the distance. This red chest features a scalloped top rail, two drawers painted ‘Royal London Ballooning Society’ and ‘1879,’ and ’Chairman’s Office’ painted on the end panel, with bracket feet. No manufacturer marking.
