Circa 1900 Papier-Mâché Belsnickle on Platform Horse
Item Details
A circa 1900’s German hand painted papier-mâché Belsnickle astride a platform horse with metal wheels. The horse has leather ears and is posed with his head nodding to one side and the original saddle and reins. The St. Nick figure wears a white rabbit fur beard and his typical red hooded robe and blue felt trousers while holding a sprig from a feather tree.
