A Herend of Hungary Tortoise and Hare figurine. This hand-painted piece depicts a small rabbit rendered in Herend’s classic blue fishnet pattern, sitting playfully on the back of a pink tortoise fashioned with a similar pattern. The figurine has 24k gold accents to the rabbit’s nose and paws, and the tortoise’s shell and feet. It is marked “Herend Hungary Handpainted” to the reverse.
