Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Chamberlain became captivated with photography at the age of thirteen. He studied Fine Art at Rochester Institute of Technology during the mid to late 1970s. Chamberlain is known for his “light painting photography,” which consists of long exposures and open shutters. Many Pop and cultural icons have sat for Chamberlain including Timothy Leary, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Madonna and more.
