Antique Mahogany Finish Mantle Clock
Item Details
A mahogany mantle clock. This circa 1880s clock would have originally had a stenciled front glass door. The face features roman numeral numbers and is marked with the logo of an ‘S’ with smaller ‘E’ and a ‘J’. The E & J Swigart Co. of Cincinnati Ohio supplied replacement paper dials for clocks. The clockmaker is unknown; and it has a Reinstatler Clock Repair label to the verso.
