Chippendale Cherrywood and Marble Writing Desk by Baker Furniture

Item Details

An early Chippendale style writing desk from the Williamsburg collection of historic reproductions by Baker Furniture. The table has a rectangular cream colored marble top with white veining on a cherrywood frame. The wood frame has a molded edge over an elaborately cut apron rising on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The table is marked with the Baker plaque to the reverse of the apron and is stamped ‘Made in Italy’ to the underside of the top.
