Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Mehriban wool rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of red, blue, and brown. The red hued field features a row of alternating medallions and ornate branched leaf forms enclosed by palmettes. Framing the field is a brown grounded main carnation meander border, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
