A mid-century oil painting by well-listed Cincinnati, Ohio artist, Evelyn Marx (1901 – 1996). The painting, titled Four Sisters, is rendered in muted green, orange an yellow tones and depicts three succulents in terracotta pots and one bust of a women in a terracotta blouse. The piece is signed to the lower left and housed in a medium grey beveled wood frame. It is titled, date and signed to the back in graphite.

Evelyn Marx studied at the University of Cincinnati, her works can be found in many prominent collections, including the Cincinnati Art Museum.
