Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, cream, green, blue, burgundy, and orange. The red hued field features an allover herati design, while framed in a main cream grounded shekeri border, and a pair of running dog guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to one end, while the other is bound. It is unlabeled.
