Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Qashai long rug. The wool rug is rendered in a palette including midnight blue, cream, brick, caramel, medium blue and magenta. It features a rectangular field with stepped diamond medallion with pendants on a cream ground, having bird forms and rectilinear designs scattered throughout. A primary border of linked diamonds and an outer guard border frame the field. The long rug is finished with twisted, colored wool fringe and overcast selvedges.
