A hand-knotted Caucasian wool runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, gray, ivory, beige, and brown. The ivory colored field is populated with eight cruciform medallions infilled with a central blossom and hooked devices, while enclosed by hooked forms, and florets along the edges. Framing the field is a floral and cruciform patterned main border, along with bracketed S designed guard borders. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe with kilim skirts to the ends. It is unlabeled.
