Item Details
A handwoven Persian Afshar slitweave wool kilim. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of orange, lavender-gray, pink, mauve, brown, and ivory. The lavender to gray hued field features three large scale stepped medallions each infilled with a central diamond and leaf forms, enclosed by rectilinear elements. Framing the field are meandering borders, and a chained border. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
