Item Details

A vintage, hand-knotted Persian Qashqai carpet runner. The wool runner is rendered in a palette of earth tones, including dark brick, rust, turquoise, cream, charcoal, dark hunter green, orange and brown. It features a central lozenge with linked medallions and rows of stylized peacock and bird forms. Stylized sunbursts, animals, trees and flowers populate the field and spandrels. Staked borders with different designs frame the field. The rug is finished with multi-colored selvedges and cropped warp fringe.
