A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Tabriz rug. This wool area rug features a red diamond shaped center field with a large medallion and pendants. There are also stacked spandrels to each corner with floral and foliate designs. The primary border of the rug displays a stylized herati pattern against a brown background. Overall, this rug is rendered in a palette of red, pink, pale green, green, orange, gold, brown, grey, blue, tan, black, and white. The rug has been finished with natural warp fringe, and it is unmarked.
