A limited edition offset lithograph fully titled Bengal Tiger – Felis Tigris by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924). This print depicts a lone Bengal tiger striding across dry grass with weathered branches in both the foreground and background. The print is signed both in plate and by hand to the lower right; it is numbered 977/1000 to the lower left. Additionally, there is an embossed seal commemorating Idaho State University’s 75th anniversary. To the verso, there is an envelope with a document which gives information about the artist, the subject, and the commission by Idaho State University.
