Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, blue, ivory, brown, pink, green, and aqua. The deep red hued field features an ornate allover herati design with added blooms and cloud band forms. Framing the field is a main navy grounded herati border, along with floral meander guard and minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
