Provenance: According to the consignor, the panel came from the Vernon Russell Regal Collection of Valencia, Pennsylvania.

Condition

- to fair; overall with various scratches, dents, marks, chips, and abrasions consistent with age and use; structurally stable; one long edge with previous hinge cutouts, one of which has a nearby loss; same edge with a few unqualified nail holes; opposing long edge with a chip and a resulting crack running almost half the width; front with some fading along edges; back fitted with a later wire for hanging.
